Atlantic Meats was founded by Eric Dolan in 1990. Eric worked in the meat business for most of his life, eventually managing the Swift and Gainer’s branch plant in Sydney, Nova Scotia before starting Atlantic Meat Packers in Sydney.
After Eric’s retirement in 2002, his son Sandy carried on the family tradition.
Today, the team at Atlantic Meats partner with Bonté Foods, operator of Chris Brothers, to deliver quality meat products to Atlantic Canada and beyond.
Together, Atlantic Meats & Chris Brothers continue the tradition of making cured brined meats the old fashion way using tried and true recipes.
The result is genuine authentic Atlantic Canadian taste and quality!
